This lethal torture device has taken the lives of another teenager, this one in Bay City, Michigan, according to this Associated Press report.
I recently started a facebook group calling for a complete ban on police-issue TASER devices. Please join it.

Although ostensibly created for police and military personnel, let’s hope these vests are widely distributed to those engaging in non-violent protest actions.
Action planned for Friday in response to cop-shooting of unarmed student

Since it’s already been all over the blogosphere, I haven’t bothered to blog about the case of Derek Copp, the student and activist who was shot in his home by a police officer during a botched cannabis raid during which 1/4 ounce of Copp’s cannabis was seized stolen by police. Copp was unarmed and offered no resistance.
Now, however, I’d like to spread the word about the action planned for Friday in response to this brutality.
